Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing, needs no payment details and can be used indefinitely within its limits.
2. Paid plans and renewal
Paid plans (Pro, Team, Agency, Business) are subscriptions billed in advance per billing period (monthly unless stated otherwise) and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices, inclusions and limits are shown at https://kavachscan.com and in the dashboard; taxes such as GST are added where applicable. Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international).
3. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from the dashboard (“Cancel subscription”) or by emailing billing@kavachscan.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, after which the account reverts to the Free plan and retention limits of the Free plan apply to your scan history.
4. Refunds
- No pro-rata refunds: fees for a billing period already started are non-refundable, except as set out below or where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Service unavailability: if the Service was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours in a billing period for reasons within our control, you may request a credit or refund for that period within 14 days of the end of the period.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full on request.
- Plan changes: upgrades take effect immediately and are charged for the new plan from the next period (or pro-rated where the payment provider supports it); downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
- Consumer rights: nothing here limits rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or equivalent law.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through the payment provider, normally within 5–7 business days (bank processing times may add to this). Requests: billing@kavachscan.com with your account email and the transaction reference.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback; we resolve genuine issues quickly. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended until the matter is resolved.
